Description
TheDIC G6 Degassing Membrane module is part of DIC’s proprietary hollow-fiber membrane technology for in-line degassing of liquids, particularly designed for inkjet ink systems. SEPAREL modules employ a surface-skin hollow fiber (SS membrane), allowing only gases to permeate while preventing liquid leakage. This design enables highly efficient removal of dissolved gases and micro-bubbles, which significantly stabilizes ink performance.
Because of the ultra-thin skin layer (around 1 µm) and high gas permeability, SEPAREL G-series modules can degas at very low levels (ppb), minimizing residual dissolved gas in ink. Their compact design results in low pressure drop, making them suitable for integration into ink circulation loops without heavily affecting system hydraulics.
